Okay so lets...

Ditch the Boykin idea.

It isn't that I don't love them, because I do. I really love them, but... I'm looking for a top notch agility dog right now, and I was told by an owner the Boykins are usually competing in the same hight class with Aussies and BCs, and that they are some tough competition.

So I'll put the Boykins on hold for now, hopefully I pick them up sometime in the future, but only after I've found my agility breed.

The fact that Boykins are somewhat unsuited to highly competitive agility wasn't the only reason why I've decided to look for another breed. I picked out like 4 or 5 breeders that were close to me who health tested their dogs, great right?

Wrong.

While it was great that they all health tested for so many problems, while searching the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation For Animals, for those of you who aren't dog freaks) database, I learned that all of their lines had hip problems. I cannot, repeat cannot have a dog with Hip Displaysa and LPs in their lines, espically when that dog is meant to be a top competitor in a huge, world-wide popular dog sport. The risk is too great.

So looks like I'll have to keep looking D:

Oh the joys of being a minor intent on finding the perfect dog.

In other news, my birthday is on the 19th, I'll be 14!

Hi, I'm Philippa, but you can call me Phil, or Marta, or LOF. I love to bake, read, act, and train my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I currently want to become a pastry chef, so we'll see what becomes of that dream in five years or so.

Right now my main interest is dogs. I like to train them, and I like to groom them. You may even see some pictures of a funny looking Poodle within the next few months, so don't be alarmed. Currently I own only one dog (previously mentioned C.K.C. Spaniel), but we'll see if I can change that, I wouldn't mind another Cav, or some other higher drive breed. I also own two ferrets. Aside from that, my family also has one other dog, a hampster, and four cats. As you can see, we are very animal oriented.

That being said, I do come on to DeviantART, but not nearly as often as I go onto my favorite site, [link], which is a virtual dog breeding website (though I do believe that many FPians are Deviants also)

I do do regular art, mostly to sell on FP, but if you saw it you would faint. While the lines are okay, the shading on the other hand... is .... not. That is why I prefer to stick with food art. I'm much better at that, maybe the fact that I get to eat it when I'm done is an incentive for me to try hard.

They're on my computer. And just because I'm angry at you doesn't mean you should delete some very good art!! I don't follow your logic. Also, "I quit" is rather morbid and much too severe for the fight we had.

I think I can do it better. The cupcake top is a little too rounded, so it looks a bit odd. Mine would also have a better board, that would look more together.
